Glucosamine - Nutrilite OsteGlucosamine | Amway Brunei

Nutrilite does not recommend consumption of this product by pregnant or nursing women without consultation with their physicians.

This product may be consumed by children over 12 years of age. Suggested use is the same as that for adults. Two capsules in the morning and two capsules in the afternoon or early evening.

Although there is no specific age range when someone should start taking glucosamine, it is not a bad idea to start protecting our joints at an early age. The recommendation is to start taking this product when you are in your early 20s or 30s.

There is no evidence of any contraindications with use of this product. However, as with any supplement, those under medical care should consult with their personal physician before using this product. Anyone with a medical condition including diabetes and hypoglycaemia should consult a physician before using this product.

There is no evidence of any potential side effects from taking this product. However, as with any supplement, anyone should consult his/her personal physician before using this product.

Glucosamine appears to be safe and well tolerated. However, consuming over 2000mg of glucosamine per day is not recommended. Extremely high levels of glucosamine can cause gastric fluctuations such as soft stools, diarrhea or nausea. The recommended dosage is 1500mg.

Currently, there are no known foods or compounds which interact with the ingredients in this formula. Nutrilite has not conducted studies on the bioavailability of this product.

This product should be consumed as two capsules twice daily, once in the morning and again in the afternoon or early evening, preferably with meals.

The first dose in the morning is due to joint stiffness and pain experienced by majority of people. The second dose would ideally be 8-12 hours later.

Currently, there is no information available to discourage use of this product with other dietary supplements.

It is not recommended to take the supplement after it has expired because the levels of nutrients are not guaranteed to maintain their potency as listed on the label.

Environmental conditions such as heat, exposure to air, or opened cap that allows oxidation to occur can decrease the nutrient activity and potency stated on the label.

All Nutrilite products, which are classified as health supplements and sold in Malaysia, are registered with the Drug Control Authority and Malaysia Ministry of Health (MOH), and carry the MOH approval number on their labeling (for example, MAL12345678).
