Salmon Omega Complex (60sg) - Nutrilite | Health | Amway Brunei

An essential fatty acid (EFA) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that is required by the body. However, the body is unable to manufacture essential fatty acids and hence must be provided by the diet. That is why it is known as “essential” fatty acid.

Fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, mackerel, trout and sardine are very rich in omega-3 fatty acids (particularly DHA and EPA). Lean fish such as cod, sole and flounder contain far less of these vital nutrients. A plant based form of omega-3 fatty acid is found in walnuts, brazil nuts, flaxseed and its oil, canola oil, and dark green leafy vegetables.

IU stands for “International Unit”. It is a measurement used to standardise the potency of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E. This unit measures the activity of the compound rather than weight.

All Nutrilite products, which are classified as health supplements and sold in Malaysia, are registered with the Drug Control Authority and Malaysia Ministry of Health (MOH), and carry the MOH approval number on their labeling (for example, MAL12345678).

Constipation could occur due to the lack of fibre or insufficient water intake. It is important to eat at least four to five servings of fruits and vegetables daily to ensure a sufficient intake of fibre. You could also consider taking Nutrilite Concentrated Fruits and Vegetables or Nutri Fibre Blend, which contains both soluble and insoluble fibre to supplement your diet.
